Customer Safety

At Paramount Bar, the safety and security of our staff and customers are of upmost importance. Paramount Bar operates a challenge 25 policy. If you are lucky enough to look younger than 25 then please be prepared to prove your age with valid and current proof of identity. This can be in the form of a UK driving license or a passport. Paramount Bar operates an ID seizure policy whereby false identification will be confiscated and handed over to the police. Paramount Bar operates a strict zero tolerance policy on drugs. Customers suspected of dealing or using drugs will be asked to leave the premises immediately. Customers are advised that Paramount Bar work continually with the local authorities to ensure we are fully compliant on all aspects of health and safety and crime and disorder. CCTV is in operation throughout the premises, and all CCTV is held for a period of 28 days.

Drink responsibly

Paramount Bar support the responsible consumption of alcohol and reserve the right to refuse service to customers who are, or appear to be, intoxicated. Tap water is freely available upon request. Please drink responsibly.

Conditions of entry

Paramount Management reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone. Paramount operates a smart/casual dress code. No football shirts or tracksuits. Fancy dress is welcome with approval from Paramount management. We reserve the right to request a personal/bag search (failure to comply may result in refusal of admission).

Allergen Information

If you require further information on ingredients which may cause allergy or intolerance, please ask to speak to one of the team. If you do have a dietary requirement or allergy, you should inform a member of the team in advance so we can minimise the risk of cross contamination during the preparation/service of your drink/food.

Disclosures of Your Information

Unless otherwise stated during the collection, personally identifiable information that may be collected in connection with visitors to the site is retained by The Speratus Group Ltd. We do not sell, transfer or otherwise disclose this personally identifiable information outside the company, except where disclosure is required by law.

Booking Policy

Paramount Bar operates a 30 minute hold policy on any table bookings. After 30 minutes from the agreed stated time of arrival, the reservation may be rejected. Paramount Management reserve the right to refuse any late booking, with no obligation to refund any monies for the reservation. Paramount Bar reserves the right to cancel a booking.


Paramount Bar operates a deposit policy for Friday and Saturday bookings, a minimum deposit of £50 will secure the booking. December bookings may be subject to an increased minimum deposit. The deposit is fully redeemable against food and drink purchases. The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. Paramount Bar reserves the right to withhold any deposit for, but not limited to, any of the following reasons: failure to attend on the booking date, failure to arrive at the stated time of arrival or failure to attend the booking due to a member of the group being rejected access to the premises. It is at the management’s discretion as to whether an extension on the deposit redemption date is given.

General Booking Information

Paramount Bar does not permit any of the following decorations: confetti, glitter or candles. We allow other forms of decorations for area bookings, please ask a member of the team if you are unsure of what may be permitted. Paramount Bar does not allow age related decorations for 18th, 19th or 20th birthday parties (Friday and Saturday only).

Discount Cards

The discount cards are offered to specific local businesses, if you are interested in obtaining discount cards for your business please send your enquiry to [email protected]. Paramount Bar discount cards vary in terms of discount value, times and days that are valid. See in bar for details. The discount card offers are not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Paramount Bar reserves the right to refuse service and would like to remind all customers to please drink responsibly.

The person using the card must be 18 years of age or older – you may be asked to provide ID. The person using the card must be the person entitled to the card, a valid proof of identity to correspond with the company worked for may be requested. If the card is lost, it can be replaced for a fee of £3.


Paramount Bar works closely with local authorities to comply with current legislation. All of the drinks promotions will run for a minimum of 72 hours to comply with licensing regulations.
